Penicuik Community First Responders

We are a group of trained local volunteers vetted by the

Scottish Ambulance Service. All volunteers have undergone training provided by qualified trainers from the Royal Life Saving Society (Lifesavers UK) Scottish Eastern Branch.

Training has also come from Penicuik Red Cross and St Andrews First Aid Groups.

Training includes Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of portable Automated External Defibrillators (AED) all of which is validated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
